Jessica's new partnership is tested; Harvey must prove a high-profile client's innocence; Mike tries to manage the fallout from his revelation.
Two days after Mike and Rachel’s earth shattering tryst, the young associate is racked with anxiety as Rachel tries to process what happened between them, and more importantly, what Mike revealed to her. But if Mike’s relationship with his paralegal love interest is on delicate footing, his bond with his erstwhile mentor is completely on the rocks, and Jessica’s gift to Mike of a new office only serves as a constant reminder of his betrayal. Hoping to make amends, Mike appeals to Harvey’s competitive nature, but Harvey isn’t so eager to forgive, or forget.
Meanwhile, Mike isn’t the only one feeling the effect of the frayed loyalties and shifted allegiances that the merger has left in its wake. As Louis deals with the fallout from his own act of disloyalty, Harvey’s increasingly risky behavior has Jessica worried that her number two is trying to get himself fired rather than live with a merger he can’t stomach. And while Harvey denies he wants to go anywhere, Edward Darby’s demand that Harvey take the lead on a high profile case of great importance ironically puts the disgruntled attorney in the position to secure an out behind Jessica’s back. But when the case raises a figure from Harvey’s past, he re-assesses what it is that he wants from the new merger – and it may just break the ties that bind the old Pearson team for good.www.usanetwork.com
